COMMERCIAL LICENSE |
There are three different types of commercial licence for the Xpeaker product. The characteristics and price of each are as follows:
The commercial licence Xpeaker HW should be acquired by those companies who market products made from the Xpeaker
Product and who are uniquely and exclusively focused on hardware that they make and/or distribute. This commercial
licence will allow them to distribute the resultant product (either free or charging) to however many end clients they desire.
The annual cost of the licence (as of January 2010) is 14.400 euros, during a minimum of five years, with an annual increment
of 4%. After said period the client can renounce payment and consequently the software maintenance. The licence includes the
adaptation of software to new Xpeak versions as well as the maintenance and update of all the modules which comprise the Xpeaker
Product. It does not include the development and maintenance of the manufacturer's own device Services and maintenance.
The commercial licence Xpeaker SW should be acquired by those companies who distribute or maintain the Xpeaker Product or any new
product originating from the same, where direct or indirect income is resulting (as explained under the Xpeaker Public License).
The commercial licence will allow the distribution of the resulting product or associated services to a single client.
As many licences as end clients who use the products and/or services should be acquired.
The annual cost of the licence (as of January 2010) is 5.700 euros, during a minimum of five years, with an annual increment of 4%. After
said period the end client can renounce payment and consequently the software maintenance. The licence includes the adaptation of software
to new Xpeak versions as well as the maintenance and update of all the modules which comprise the Xpeaker Product, including all device Services.
The commercial licence Xpeaker EC should be acquired by those end clients who require Xpeaker product maintenance.
The annual cost of the licence (as of January 2010) is 8.100 euros, during a minimum of five years, with an annual increment of 4%. After
said period the client can renounce payment and consequently the software maintenance. The licence includes the adaptation of software to new
Xpeak versions as well as the maintenance and update of all the modules which comprise the Xpeaker Product, including all device
Services as well as the development of new Services as long as the end client supplies the right documentation and necessary hardware.
Note for SW and EC licences: in the case of Companies Groups, each company that composes said group will be treated as a different end client.
